Growing Together: Team Standley at the 2025 Global Leadership Summit

A Commitment to Leadership Excellence

This month, Standley Systems leadership team gathered for the Global Leadership Summit 2025, a two-day experience (August 7–8) designed to inspire, challenge, and equip leaders to create lasting influence. As part of our ongoing Leadership Academy, this summit allowed the leaders of Team Standley to step away from the day-to-day and dive headfirst into fresh ideas, bold insights, and practical tools that will help us grow as leaders, both inside our company and in the communities we serve.

The GLS 2025 Experience

At the heart of GLS is the belief that everyone has influence. Over two days, our team explored topics ranging from visionary leadership and strategic decision-making to navigating change and building high-performance cultures. The Summit featured a lineup of CEOs, thought leaders, innovators, authors, and culture-shapers each sharing insights designed to spark growth and inspire action.

Key elements of the Summit included:

  • World-Class Faculty – Speakers who have led in business, government, faith, and the nonprofit sector, sharing their hard-earned insights.

  • Actionable Tools – Frameworks and resources designed to be implemented right away in our teams and client relationships.

  • Global Perspective – Exposure to diverse voices and leadership styles from across the globe.

  • Collaborative Learning – Opportunities to process content together as a team, so that inspiration becomes action.

Why This Matters for Standley Systems

Leadership is at the core of how we serve our clients and community. The lessons we brought back, paired with the energy and vision sparked by the Summit, will directly fuel how we approach problem-solving, innovation, and client relationships.

Through our Leadership Academy, we are intentional about developing not just technical expertise, but the kind of leadership that builds trust, drives collaboration, and creates long-term impact. GLS 2025 provided the inspiration and the tools to accelerate that growth.

Looking Ahead: Insights That Will Shape Our Future

Our time at GLS 2025 was packed with leadership truths that will guide us long after the event. Among the most powerful insights we’re bringing back:

  • "Boring isn't the enemy of greatness. Boring is the pathway to greatness." Craig Groeschel

  • "Consistency + faithfulness × time = lasting impact."  Craig Groeschel

  • "Great thoughts turn into great actions. Great actions turn into great results."  Jon Acuff

  • "People will describe your life in one sentence - pick it now!" John C. Maxwell

  • "We need vision to have hope. We need vision to manage our emotions. We need vision to keep going when times get tough." Christine Caine

  • "Rest is not a reward; it's what makes great work possible." James Hewitt

  • "Choose curiosity and connection over agenda and transaction." Bradley Rapier

  • "God has uniquely shaped younot to imitatebut to influence others, just as you are." David Ashcraft

  • "Value visibly, communicate carefully, collaborate confidently, and trust totally." Erica Dhawan

These reminders challenge us to think beyond quick wins and instead prioritize consistent habits and intentional choices that make a long-term difference.

Leadership as a Journey

At Standley Systems, we believe leadership is more than a title. It’s about influence, service, and the ability to create lasting impact. We’re grateful to have been part of this global leadership movement, and even more excited to put what we’ve learned into action.
