Standley Systems Kicks Off 2026 Leadership Academy at Okana Resort

We’re officially off and running with the 2026 Standley Systems Leadership Academy—and what better way to kick things off than by stepping away from the office, gathering together, and setting the tone for the year ahead? 

Our leadership and management teams came together at the beautiful Okana Resort in Oklahoma City for a day dedicated to growth, connection, and vision. The Standley Systems Leadership Academy is all about investing in our people—creating space for leaders across departments to collaborate, strengthen communication, and build trust while sharpening the skills that help us serve our customers, teams, and communities even better. 

The day began with vision casting from our executive and ownership team, grounding us in where we’re headed and why it matters. From there, we leaned into interactive team builders that sparked great conversations, plenty of laughs, and meaningful connection across departments. Add in some seriously yummy bites, and the energy in the room stayed high all day long. 

We wrapped up the kickoff with an impactful and heartfelt session from Shanna Rice, CEO and Executive Director of Southwest Youth and Family Services. Shanna spoke with our group about Team and Community Health, with a special focus on mental health—an important and timely conversation that reminded us that strong leadership starts with caring for people, both inside and outside the workplace. 

This kickoff was just the beginning of what’s shaping up to be an exciting year for our Leadership Academy. We’re grateful for the time, the conversations, and the shared commitment to growing together—and we can’t wait to see how this experience continues to strengthen our leaders and our organization throughout 2026.
