April Employee of the Month: Marty Barnes

April’s Employee of the Month is none other than Marty Barnes! He’s the kind of teammate who’s always ready to jump in, lend a hand, and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. Whether he’s working across teams or solving problems with a cool head, Marty’s positive attitude and dedication make a big difference. 

Marty is our Regional Service Manager for Texas and for decades he’s been making magic happen across departments. He leads a talented team of technicians, supports our sales team with service expertise, and keeps communication flowing smoothly between teams across the company. If there’s a challenge to tackle or a process to streamline, Marty’s the guy you want on your side.

But what really makes Marty stand out? It’s his passion for teamwork and his drive to see things through to the finish line. He loves working alongside others to hit shared goals and gets a real sense of satisfaction from bringing a solution full circle. For Marty, it’s not just about solving problems—it’s about growing together. Watching Standley Systems continue to evolve and thrive is one of his favorite parts of the job.

When he’s not busy collaborating across teams or putting out figurative fires, Marty is likely doing one of two things: perfecting his golf swing on the green or training his one-year-old German Shepherd, Duke!

Marty and his wife of 41 years, Becky, have one daughter, Amber, who lives in Yukon, Oklahoma. Since moving to Texas, Marty has been busy finding his place in the community—getting involved with his new church and working with his HOA to find just the right committee to join. Because let’s be honest, Marty never really stops being a team player.
