We’re thrilled to celebrate a significant milestone at Standley Systems, our very first LEAD Now class has officially graduated!
Earlier this year, we launched LEAD Now, a brand-new leadership development program designed to help aspiring Standley leaders grow both personally and professionally. After a competitive application process and nominations from their Vice Presidents, 15 dedicated employees were selected to form this inaugural class.
Over the last nine months, these individuals have pushed themselves beyond comfort zones, supported one another, and embraced the challenge of becoming better leaders, not just in the workplace, but in every area of their lives. Their dedication, vulnerability, engagement, and commitment to growth have been truly inspiring, both to their peers and to the incredible guest speakers who joined throughout the journey.
About the LEAD Now Program
The name LEAD Now captures the heart of the program’s mission: leadership begins now, right where you are. You don’t have to be a manager, director, or team lead to lead with purpose and influence.
LEAD Now stands for:
-
L – Learn continuously
-
E – Engage with others and inspire
-
A – Align goals and actions with the vision and values of the organization
-
D – Dedicate yourself to continuous improvement
-
Now – Lead right where you are, today.
Over the course of the program, participants explored key leadership topics, including:
-
Time and energy management
-
Understanding Standley's financial benchmarks
-
Delegation and decision making
-
The Standley Vision, the 7 Pillars, and the art of Unreasonable Hospitality
-
Crucial conversations and conflict resolution

Self-awareness and the Working Genius model
