A Different Kind of Paradise: Standley Systems President’s Club Sets Sail for Alaska

This year, Standley Systems’ President’s Club looked a little different. Instead of tropical beaches and palm trees, our top achievers traded the sand for glaciers, mountains, wildlife, and an unforgettable Alaskan adventure.

Each year, Standley Systems’ President’s Club recognizes Sales Executives who have achieved or exceeded their annual sales quota. It’s a milestone that represents a year of hard work, consistency, dedication to our customers, and a commitment to delivering results.

This year, our President’s Club Achievers, along with our Standley annual award recipients, earned a trip unlike any we’ve taken before: a seven-day luxury Norwegian Cruise to Alaska.

The adventure began in Seattle, where the group came together before setting sail for a week packed with incredible scenery, exciting excursions, and plenty of opportunities to unplug, recharge, and celebrate their accomplishments.

Adventure at Every Turn

Alaska delivered no shortage of memorable moments.

Throughout the seven-day cruise, our team experienced some of the incredible beauty and adventure that make Alaska such a special destination. They spotted bears in the Alaskan wilderness, took helicopter rides to breathtaking glaciers, explored quaint Alaskan towns, and took in views that pictures simply can't do justice.

Between adventures on land, there was plenty to enjoy aboard the ship, too. The cruise gave everyone a chance to slow down, recharge, share some laughs, and enjoy one another’s company away from the day-to-day pace of work.

While this year’s destination may have been a departure from the tropical President’s Club trips of years past, it proved that paradise doesn't always require a beach.

Sometimes, it looks a little more like snowcapped mountains, towering glaciers, crisp Alaskan air, and a view from the deck of a ship.

Celebrating Achievement

President’s Club is an incredible trip, but the destination is only part of what makes the experience so meaningful.

At its heart, President’s Club is about recognizing achievement.

Earning a spot in President’s Club means one of our Sales Executives has met or exceeded their annual quota, an accomplishment that takes focus, persistence, strong customer relationships, and a commitment to performing at a high level throughout the year.

Alongside our President’s Club Achievers, we were also proud to celebrate our Standley annual award recipients, whose contributions and impact throughout the year earned them a place on this special trip.

The experience gives our honorees a well-earned opportunity to step away from the everyday, unplug, and enjoy the rewards of a job well done.

More Than a Destination

One of the best parts of President’s Club is the time spent together.

Away from meetings, emails, deadlines, and everyday responsibilities, our team had an opportunity to connect in a completely different environment. Whether sharing an Alaskan adventure, spotting wildlife together, standing on a glacier, exploring a new town, or simply enjoying a meal and conversation aboard the ship, those moments create memories and relationships that last well beyond the trip.

And after a year spent working toward ambitious goals, there’s something special about being able to slow down and celebrate what was accomplished together.

From Seattle to Alaska and back again, this year’s President’s Club was a celebration of achievement, adventure, and the people whose dedication continues to move Standley Systems forward.
