Before joining Standley Systems, James spent several years developing his sales expertise in highly competitive environments, learning what it takes to not just meet goals—but to surpass them. His time as a high school teacher and coach further sharpened his communication and leadership skills, adding a layer of discipline, patience, and emotional intelligence that continues to benefit his clients and colleagues alike.
What drew James to Standley Systems was more than just a new professional opportunity. He was looking for a company whose mission and core values aligned with his own—a workplace built on integrity, purpose, and faith. Outside of work, James brings the same heart and passion to his other calling: music. A professional bass player, he plays regularly at a church in Dallas, using his musical talents to uplift and inspire others. Whether he's on stage, in a client meeting, or mentoring those around him, James leads with intention, humility, and a desire to make a lasting impact.
