September 2026 Employee of the Month: Michael Martin

Join us in celebrating Michael Martin, our September Employee of the Month! For 14 years, Michael has been part of Team Standley, putting technology to work for the people around him.

As Principal Security Engineer, Michael helps keep our company secure, teaches team members how to stay security-minded, and builds AI tools that help departments work more efficiently and accurately. His favorite part of the job? The variety of challenges and the many different things he gets to do.

Outside of work, Michael and his high school sweetheart have been married for 26 years. Their 22-year-old daughter dances ballet in Tennessee, and their 20-year-old son attends Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond. Michael has enjoyed playing Rocket League since the pandemic, recently returned to mountain biking, and hopes to find another soccer team so he can get back to a sport he loves.

Michael’s commitment to serving others reaches well beyond the workplace. As a board member of Brother Joe Ministries, he supports work in the Amazon region of Peru. About a year ago, the ministry sent Joe to the region, where it has helped start a church in Tamshiyacu and free English classes in Iquitos. The ministry is also building relationships with local pastors to help develop discipleship programs. Michael says it’s exciting to see what’s been accomplished in such a short time.

Closer to home, Michael volunteers with TrueNorth, a men’s ministry in Oklahoma City that brings men together and creates space for them to hear from their Heavenly Father, perhaps for the first time.
