We teed off our Q3 Sales Meeting on July 24th at Top Golf in OKC—with plenty of sales talk, team updates, and a few hole-in-ones (some more metaphorical than others, but we’re counting them all the same).
The day kicked off with opening remarks from our VP of Sales, Perry Hatch, who set the tone with a powerful video of The Man in the Arena by Teddy Roosevelt. Because here at Standley, we’re not just spectators—we’re in the ring (or in this case, on the green).
From there, we welcomed our newest team members and rolled right into some exciting updates from our Sales Directors. There was a lot to celebrate—from big goals being crushed to exciting progress on our new office location in Texas.
Next up, VP of Service Josh Ravan gave us a heartfelt reminder of what “service the Standley way” really means: loyalty, honesty, and the courage to own our mistakes. He also walked us through service call trends dating back to 2017—because knowing where we’ve been helps guide where we’re going.
The energy stayed high as Sales Directors shared real-life wins from the field, followed by a standout session with guest speaker Jeff Vint from Pivotal Advisors. He tackled the art of selling value in a fast-moving world and tied it back to our core pillars: customer intimacy, product innovation, and operational excellence.
Roger Rinkenbaugh, our Central Region Director of Sales, gave us the latest scoop on all things Kyocera, from financials to regional insights. Then COO Greg Elliott took the stage for a “State of the Company” update, spotlighting our upcoming family event and giving a refresh on our Core Strategy Flywheel.
We also heard from our new Director of HR, Aaron Palacios, who shared his background and people-first approach—anchored in unity, empathy, and strategic growth.
Our Marketing Manager, Kali Mogg, rounded out the presentations with an update on the latest marketing efforts supporting Sales. (Spoiler alert: there’s a lot going on behind the scenes!)
Then, Perry wrapped up the day with some closing thoughts before we traded spreadsheets for scorecards and hit the bays for lunch and a little friendly competition. Because at Standley, we work hard, play smart, and never pass up a chance to celebrate as a team.
