Standley Systems Lands in Plano: Open House & Ribbon Cutting Recap

On September 11th, we cut the ribbon and officially opened the doors to our brand-new Plano office! And in true Standley style, we celebrated the only way we know how—good food and great company.

Our Plano Open House was the perfect mix of community, conversation, and connection. It gave us the opportunity to open our doors, welcome new faces, and introduce Standley Systems to the North Dallas area in a way that truly reflects who we are. From meeting new neighbors and reconnecting with long-time partners to sharing our story and vision for the future, the day was all about building relationships and showing everyone what Standley Systems is all about.

And let’s be honest—it wouldn’t be a Standley celebration without some good eats. Big Fred, our traveling cooking trailer, rolled in and fired up the grill, serving up hotdogs and hamburgers that had people coming back for seconds. For dessert, Oopsie Scoopsie scooped out the perfect sweet treat to go with the sunshine and laughter. Add in some cold drinks and door prizes, and the afternoon couldn’t have been better.

Guests had the chance to tour our brand-new space, which includes 10,000 square feet of warehouse and staging space, see our technology in action through live demos, and spend time with our incredible manufacturer partners who help make it all possible. Of course, the best part was simply connecting—chatting with our clients, sharing stories, and building new relationships. The atmosphere was professional yet relaxed, the kind of environment where real conversations happen and genuine connections are made.

The highlight of the day came with the official ribbon cutting—a milestone moment that symbolized not just opening a new office but officially planting our roots in Plano. It was a proud step forward for Standley Systems and a celebration of growth, opportunity, and community. Having clients, partners, and new friends gathered around us made the moment all the more meaningful. It was a shared celebration of what’s ahead, surrounded by the people who make it all possible.

We can’t thank everyone enough for coming out and making this day so special. The North Dallas business community has a unique way of coming together and showing up for eachother with a kind of energy that is contagious. We’re thrilled to be part of that community and can’t wait to keep building relationships, solving problems, and hosting more events.
