Mid-Year Momentum: Standley's Year So Far

Written by Rachel Redemer | Jul 31, 2025 1:00:00 PM

We’re halfway through the year, and let’s just say—we haven’t slowed down one bit. From major leadership moves to unforgettable events, here’s a look at what we’ve been up to from January through July.

January - March

We hit the ground running in January with our Q1 Quarterly Sales Meeting on the 23rd—where we recapped some major wins from 2024 so far (spoiler: they’re worth celebrating).

We also had a big leadership announcement: Perry Hatch stepped into the role of VP of Sales!

Now that we’re well into the year, how are those tech resolutions holding up? Still charging ahead—or gathering dust like that treadmill in the guest room? Read John Brown and Michael Martin's IT New Year Resolutions again if you need a refresher.

April

April was packed with sunshine, celebrations, and a whole lot of Standley spirit.

To kick things off, our President’s Club winners jetted off to the stunning Secrets Los Cabos. Between soaking up the sun and taking in the local sights (and bites!), they had plenty of time to relax and revel in their hard-earned success.

But the fun didn’t stop there—on April 13th, we hosted our Spring Family Event at Main Event in Oklahoma City. Employees brought their favorite people along for a day full of games, laughs, and some quality time away from the office. (Because nothing says team bonding like a little friendly laser tag competition.)

We also got down to business with our Q2 Quarterly Sales Meeting, where we dove into what’s working, what’s not, and why clear communication continues to be the real MVP.

Outside of work, our team showed up in full force, volunteering at both the OKC Memorial Marathon and the OKC Arts Festival. We’re proud to be part of a team that gives back.

And finally, Spirit Week brought the energy—think themed days, team pride, and plenty of selfies—all leading up to our favorite annual tradition: Standley Gives. We pulled 30 incredible organizations from employee nominations to support this year. Check out who made the list here!

May

May was a month of reflection and looking ahead. We launched our Legacy and Vision for the Future video and the accompanying blog, Built on Heart, Fueled by Vision. If you haven’t watched or read yet, now’s the perfect time!

But the big buzz? Our very first Solutions Summit! It was a milestone moment, and spoiler alert—it was a total hit. Great conversations, fresh ideas, and some seriously inspiring takeaways.

May also kicked off our Big Fred events! Big Fred is our cooking trailer that serves as a way for Team Standley to give back to our clients and community partners through food, fun, and fellowship. From parades and teacher appreciation to client celebrations and local sporting events, we love showing up to support—and cheer on—those who support us.

Big Fred Events:

  • Claremore Christian School
  • HSI Sensing

June

June brought the heat—and a whole lot of highlights!

We kicked things off with our 3rd annual Tech & Targets event on June 6th. It was a blast (literally and figuratively), think sharp minds, sharp shooting, and a whole lot of networking.

We also celebrated an incredible milestone for two of our own: Carla Edwards and Rick Jobe both reached 10 years as Fiery Cutsheet Experts! A full decade of dedication—now that’s worth a round of applause.

We said a bittersweet farewell to the legendary Gordon Bentley, who officially retired. After years of incredible work, we gave him the heartfelt sendoff he truly deserves. (There may or may not have been cake involved.)

And our Chickasha team hosted a Tea Social to show appreciation for all the hard work and heart our people bring every day. Because sometimes, a cup of tea and a good conversation really do go a long way.

Big Fred Events:

  • CareerTech
  • Keller Williams Elite
  • Chickasaw Nation OBI Blood Drive

July

In July, we welcomed Manny Veyna III as our new Director of Sales in Plano. He’s focused on expanding our reach across DFW, mentoring new talent, and making Standley the top choice for workflow automation and managed services.

Manny’s leadership is a big step in our mission to deliver high-value solutions where they’re needed most—right in our own backyard.

Big Fred Events:

  • First Moore Baptist Church
  • YMCA

From major milestones to meaningful moments, the first half of 2025 has been nothing short of exciting—and we’re just getting started. Stay tuned. There’s plenty more to come.
