If you've spent any time around Standley Systems, you know teamwork and hard work are at the heart of everything we do, and October's Employee of the Month, Matt Niles, is a perfect example of both.
Matt, our Inventory Control Specialist, has gone the extra mile over the past few months. He played a huge role in moving and consolidating our warehouses into our new location, a massive project that took plenty of planning, coordination, and muscle. And here's the kicker: he managed it all while keeping up with his regular workload because, as Matt says, "business doesn't just stop."
That kind of dedication and leadership is exactly why we're so thankful to have him on our team. Matt's steady presence and can-do attitude made what could've been a stressful move run smoothly, and he did it all with his trademark calm and good humor.
When we asked Matt what his favorite part of the job is, he didn't hesitate: it's the people. He loves building relationships with his coworkers, and it shows. Whether he's helping someone on a project of sharing a laugh during the day, Matt makes our workplace a better place to be.
Outside of work, you'll find Matt relaxing with family, spending a day at the racetrack, or casting a line and enjoying some time fishing. He's been part of Team Standley for three years now, and we couldn't imagine the team without him.
