On October 9, clients, partners, and Team Standley gathered at our Plano, Texas, office for a little rivalry and a whole lot of connection. Our Red River Rally brought the OU-Texas spirit to North Texas, with guests sporting crimson or burnt orange and enjoying an afternoon of food, games, prizes, and hands-on technology experiences.

The team loyalties may have been divided, but there was plenty to bring us together. We caught up with familiar faces, talked business solutions, and made time to enjoy each other’s company outside the usual workday.

Bringing Technology and Football Together

Good conversations are part of finding the right technology for your team. At the rally, guests connected with representatives from HP, Kyocera, CoreFax (OpenText), DocuWare, and Ricoh to explore solutions designed to simplify workflows and help people stay productive.

With our manufacturer partners onsite, guests could try the technology, ask questions, and learn how the solutions available through Standley Systems could support their day-to-day work. It was a chance to put faces to names and talk through practical possibilities together.

Rivalry Spirit and Community Support

Former OU offensive lineman Nate Anderson and former Texas offensive lineman Logan Parr joined us for the afternoon! Both spent time signing autographs, taking photos, and talking football with fans. Sooners and Longhorns alike had a chance to share their enthusiasm for the rivalry with players who had been part of it.

That team spirit also helped support our North Texas neighbors. A silent auction featuring autographed memorabilia benefited Minnie’s Food Pantry, a nonprofit that provides food assistance to individuals and families in need. Thank you to everyone who participated and turned a memorable afternoon into an opportunity to give back.

Good Food, Team Pride, and Time Together

Big Fred joined the fun with pulled pork sandwiches for everyone to enjoy. Between bites, guests took part in games, picked up prizes, and kept the football conversations going.

Team Standley also created customized posters featuring each guest’s choice of OU or Texas. It was a personal keepsake to take home—and one more way to make those team loyalties known.

The food and friendly competition gave us plenty to enjoy. What mattered most was the time spent with the clients and partners we work alongside every day.

Thank You for Being Part of It

At Standley Systems, partnership is personal. Bringing people together at our Plano office, sharing a meal, and supporting Minnie’s Food Pantry are ways we put that belief into action. Our communities are part of the work we do and the relationships we build.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, to our manufacturer partners for helping make the rally possible, and to Nate Anderson and Logan Parr for spending the afternoon with our guests. We’re grateful, too, to everyone who supported the silent auction and Minnie’s Food Pantry.

Whether you wore crimson or burnt orange, we’re glad you spent the afternoon with Team Standley. Here’s to good neighbors, strong partnerships, and a little friendly rivalry!
