If there’s one thing 2025 has made clear, it’s this: Team Standley doesn’t do “quiet years.” From leadership growth and meaningful milestones to community connections and celebrations big and small, this year has been full of moments that remind us why we love what we do—and who we do it with.
Here’s a look at how the year has unfolded.
We jumped into the year with our Q1 Quarterly Sales Meeting on January 23, taking time to celebrate some impressive wins from 2024. It was energizing, motivating, and a great reminder that momentum doesn't magically happen—you build it.
One of the biggest moments early in the year was announcing Perry Hatch as our new VP of Sales. A big move, a big win, and an exciting step forward for the entire team.
And of course, January wouldn't be complete without New Year's resolutions. Some of them are still thriving...others may be sitting quietly in the corner. John Brown and Michael Martin's IT New Year Resolutions gave us a reality check and maybe even a little motivation to keep pushing forward.
Spring showed up with sunshine—and a calendar full of reasons to celebrate. Our President's Club winners packed their bags and headed to secrets Los Cabos for a well-earned getaway. Between great food, ocean views, and zero alarm clocks, it was the perfect way to celebrate an incredible year of achievement.
In April we had our Spring Family Event at Main Event in Oklahoma City. Games, laser tag, laughs, and quality family time reminded us that work is better when the people you care about get to be part of the fun. We also took time to regroup and refocus during our Q2 Quarterly Sales Meeting, where we talked honestly about what's working, what needs a tune-up, and why communication is still the unsung hero of success.
Outside the office, our team rolled up their sleeves for the OKC Memorial Marathon and the OKC Arts Festival. Giving back is part of who we are—and it's always better when we do it together.
Spirit Week brought out the creativity, the team pride, and a lot of camera-worthy moments. All of it led to one of our favorite traditions: Standley Gives. This year, employees nominated 30 incredible organizations making a difference in our communities, and supporting them was a highlight of the season.
We also hit pause to reflect on where we've been and where we're headed with our Legacy and Vision for the Future video and the blog Built on Heart, Fueled by Vision. It was a meaningful moment to look back—and get excited about what's next.
And then came a big milestone: our very first Solutions Summit. Great Conversations, fresh ideas, and plenty of softball highlights made it a standout success.
We can't forget our third annual Tech & Targets event, where sharp minds met sharp shooting—and networking came with a side of friendly competition.
Of course, no Spring would be complete without Big Fred making its return. Our favorite cooking trailer hit the road, serving up food, fun, and fellowship everywhere it went—and reminding us that nothing brings people together quite like a good meal.
Summer arrived—and brought plenty of momentum with it. We celebrated a major milestone for Carla Edwards and Rick Jobe, who both reached ten years as Fiery Cutsheet Experts. A full decade of dedication is no small thing, and we couldn't be more grateful for the impact they've made.
July brought more community connection as Big Fred continued rolling through events across the region, spreading smiles, burgers, and a whole lot of Standley spirit.
In August, our leadership team stepped away from the day-to-day to invest in growth at the Global Leadership Summit 2025. As part of our ongoing Leadership Academy, this two-day experience challenged and inspired our leaders with fresh ideas, bold insights, and practical tools they’ll carry back into their teams and communities.
September gave us several moments worth celebrating. We kicked things off on September 11th by cutting the ribbon and officially opening the doors to our brand-new Plano office. And in true Standley style, we marked the occasion the best way we know how—with good food, great company, and plenty of conversation.
That same spirit of connection carried into our Fall Family Event at the Fort Worth Zoo. Between animal encounters, fresh air, and plenty of smiles, it was a perfect reminder that meaningful relationships grow when we make time to simply enjoy being together.
Connection showed up in smaller—but just as meaningful—ways in Chickasha, where our team hosted a tea social. It proved that sometimes the best way to say “thank you” is with a warm cup of tea, good conversation, and a moment to slow down together.
Q3 also brought a bittersweet farewell as we celebrated the retirement of the legendary Gordon Bentley. Stories were shared, gratitude filled the room, and yes—cake was absolutely involved.
As the year rolled on, Q4 brought a mix of reflection, connection, and planning for the tear ahead. Our teams attended OkAPP, Oklahoma Hospital Association (OHA), and InnoTech tradeshows—connecting with peers, swapping ideas, and showing up as proud ambassadors of Standley and the work we do.
Q4 was also a huge milestone for leadership development. Our first-ever Lead NOW class officially graduated, marking the completion of a brand-new leadership development program designed to help aspiring Standley leaders grow both personally and professionally. After a competitive application process and nominations from their Vice Presidents, 15 dedicated employees were selected for this inaugural class. Watching them grow, learn, and step confidently into leadership has been one of the most rewarding moments of the year—and this is just the beginning of Lead NOW’s impact.
And Q4 wasn’t all meetings and milestones—we made time for fun, too. Team Standley hosted an OU–LSU tailgate, welcoming clients, partners, and friends for good food, great company, and plenty of Sooner pride ahead of a big Oklahoma win. It was the perfect blend of relationship-building and game-day energy.
As the holidays approached, Team Standley rallied in a big way to give back. Across all locations, employees donated Christmas presents to help make the season brighter for families and children in need. Our Chickasha office and warehouse teams supported The Salvation Army and Santa’s Workshop, the OKC office donated to St. Francis Ministries, and our Tulsa and Texas offices contributed to Toys for Tots. It was a powerful reminder of what happens when a team comes together with generosity and purpose.
And to close out the year on a high note, we were honored to be named a Top Workplace. This recognition belongs to every member of Team Standley and reflects the culture, care, and commitment that show up every single day.
From leadership milestones and team celebrations to community service and shared laughs, this year has been full of moments that matter. And if 2026 is anything like what we experienced this year, we're in for even more great things ahead.
Here's to continuing to momentum, showing up for one another, and building something even better—together.
